Debra Yoder was the most personable breeder I have ever had communication with. She was so quick to answer any questions I had and set an immediate facetime for me to virtually meet my furbaby! She made buying my puppy super easy and stress free. She provided much information and within a ten minute phone call she had me sold! I was blessed with the most beautiful long haired mini dachshund from her page and I could not be more satisfied.

November 2020, my family got the Covid puppy itch. We knew we wanted a mini-golden doodle, but trying to find one was hard. Our search led us to Hilltop when we stumbled across a picture of the perfect puppy., who has now become part of our family. We put a deposit down without even meeting him as we are in NJ. Enzo was transported to us and was in perfect condition. Hilltop was a pleasure to work with and I highly trust them. Enzo is calm, loveable, playful and the perfect addition to our family. We had been searching for a dog for about 3 months when my husband came across an ad on Lancaster Puppies. Debra responded to our inquiries about Sawyer very quickly. So we drove out the very same day to pick up Sawyer.
Sawyer is Perfect! He is super smart, learned basic commands very quickly. He has a great temperament and loves to play with our older dog as well as our young grandkids. Our older dog (12 years) is like a puppy again.
We got a great report from our vet when we took him for his first wellness check up. Sawyer does not shed which was very important to us because I am allergic to dogs that shed.
Debra is great if we had any questions after we picked him up she was very prompt to respond to our inquiries.

We bought two corgis from Hilltop canines this past summer, and couldn’t be more delighted. We’ve never had corgis before. I expected happiness, What I wasn’t expecting was how smart they are, and how athletic. My pups are 3.5 months apart in age and love to play with each other and my 2-year-old granddaughter. In the picture, Mazy is leash training Rugby. It took her about 30 seconds to figure out how the leash worked.

In March 2021 I decided to raise my first dog as a family member. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi has always been my favorite. After asking my friend which website is reliable for finding a puppy, I went to AKC and found Debra. She is really a very reliable and responsible breeder. Because it was my first puppy ever, I asked a lot of seemingly dumb questions after paying the deposit, but Debra answered my questions patiently and updated me the photo of my puppy Potsticker. He seemed like a strong and lively puppy in the photos and videos.
After two months, I finally got my Potsticker with excitement! What with him were the up to date vaccine records, the deworming records and vet records. I really appreciate Debra for keeping him healthy. During the two months of getting along with Potsticker, I realized that he is not only a strong and lively, he is also a healthy, smart and brave puppy. He is really friendly and chill to all dogs and people. He will never bark to the dogs that bigger than him. This is all thanks to Debra’s meticulous care and the good character of Potsticker’s parents. And when Debra told me that she had her own website Hilltop Canines, I was very happy for her, and I am really grateful that I can leave my review here. That was really a great experience! We picked up our mini-goldendoodle Lady in mid-July and have been in LOVE ever since! She is so smart and brings much joy to our home. We have an 8 year old toy aussie and they get along better than I could have dreamed. Best friends for sure. Deb was great to work with and they accommodated us in every way. Would highly recommend for your next mini. We have already recommended her to three of our friends who have fell in love with LADY too.

We had a wonderful experience with Hilltop Canines! Before picking up our pup we were able to contact them any time with any questions we had. We were provided pictures and video of Willow (formerly Gracie) in the days leading up to adoption day. Upon arrival we were greeted by the family with smiles and waves! This made us so much more comfortable with the process. We were able to take our time, talk with the family and meet Willow’s mom on site. Our sweet girl is 1 year old now and about 14 lb. We love her smaller size. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. Rosy is playful, obedient, and loving. She enjoys playing with our two girls and also snuggling on the couch. We are very pleased with our new addition. She is so loved! So glad we made the trip from VA to Ohio to get her. She is truly the best dog!

Toby has been in our house for just a week, but the way he’s fit right in with everyone in our home it’s like he’s been here forever.

Contacted Deb and told her what I was looking for. She informed me that her last pup was spoken for, but the person decided not to take her. I was informed Harper was now available. I told her I would like to drive up and just meet her and Harper. I wasn’t sure I wanted her until I met her and Deb. Deb charged less than 1/2 the price some of these breeders are charging. I saw Sheepadoodles for $4,000 online. Unbelievable what some get try to away with.

Brought Harper with me and love my choice. She is without a doubt a puppy. Getting into everything, barking, chewing on things and Yes, peeing on the carpet. She’s getting much better but not completely potty trained yet. The young neighbor lady has adopted her along with her poodle, Razzy. God does she love her “Two” dogs😊😊.

Training is scheduled for Dec by a real trainer and I’m getting her spayed in 2 months. Nice 6 month birthday gift😢😢.

If you want a small breeder who truly loved and cared for her dogs then look no further than Deb. She does care and only wants good homes for her pups. As you can see she is not greedy like quite a few breeders. She’s not raising these pups any cheaper than the money hounds out there. Nice to find a good Christian that does it mostly because she enjoys it. Not all for the money😇😇.

We welcomed our mini goldendoodle in April 2020 and we were immediately (and still are) so completely in love and obsessed with him. Joby (formerly Leander) was the perfect addition to our little family! He is 28 pounds of fluff, fun, and energy, but fits into our family so well and makes us laugh daily.

We found Hilltop Canines through an online search and after reading so many horror stories about buying a puppy online, we were skeptical at first. However, Deb immediately put our minds at ease – she was very responsive, honest, and was happy to answer any and all of our questions. She provided us with picture and video updates in the days and weeks leading up to adoption. We picked up Hubie Dubois (formerly named Orca) on Memorial Day and had the best experience with hilltopcanines! I had texted Debra on a Sunday kind of late and immediately got a text back and she said he was available to pick up the next day! We drove from Indianapolis to Ohio and the pick up was incredibly easy and she had all of his stuff ready to go! Hubie had an amazing three hour car ride home with no accidents and was extremely loving to everyone!

Hubie was very affectionate and has been super easy to potty train as soon as we got him home! He’s getting so big in just these last couple months and is a big lover of food and playing outside! Especially running into bushes! He is hilarious and so fun to be around! The grooming is also so easy and he always smells so good! He loves to sit in bed with me when I do homework or if I’m watching TV! He was and still is the sweetest and happiest puppy I’ve ever met! So happy we got him from here!❤️
